It’s tougher than ever for teens today to get into a “good” school, let alone the college of their choice.  The bar keeps rising and the competition is staggering.  As parents, we want our kids to be the best they can be, and sometimes they need a little extra help to get there.

I firmly believe that every kid has an individual fingerprint for learning.  Part of this is shaped by the world in which they live, part is just in the genes.  Yes, our schools should have the resources to teach each child effectively, but the reality is that schools have to teach to the masses, and there are times when this “one size fits all” approach falls short.  My tutoring focuses on finding what works for YOUR child.  I’m not just tutoring teens, I’m tutoring your teen.

I tutor students of all abilities including those with ADD, ADHD, autism and processing issues.  I do not have a degree in special education but I do have a strong record of success tutoring these students.

Through the use of Skype, I have a national clientele.  Oftentimes, using technology to exchange documents quickly is a benefit.  In addition, Google Docs enables us to simultaneously edit the paper so that the student can walk away from the session with an organized, readable product.
